Then why is Trump SAYING the documents were planted. The same documents he says he declassified long ago.

No matter how absurd a Trump defense, we can count on Bill nodding and saying, yeah, that's it.

There is no way for you or I to know whether documents were planted.
Defendant: "Your honor, those drugs that the police found on me were planted!"

Judge: "Can you prove this?"

Defendant: "I don't have to. The state has to prove that they weren't planted on me!"

That's what the "planted" defense sounds like to me.
