It looks like most of these are either publishers (with limited selections) or specialists for niche markets, imho. There are a few who appear to be going after the large market which AMZN is trying to dominate.

Thanks for the links.

I haven't had a chance to check it out but if the site below works as advertised then it spells doom for Amazon. They can't even come close to competing on price.

Another point is that there is no value in a middle man that takes a big cut with the Internet. Why not just get the books from the publisher and keep or split Amazon's markup with them especially with a search engine supplied by a third party or the publisher?
