I agree. It's ridiculous. The whole policy to keep Nordstream 2 from getting online is just plain dumb. If I was a German citizen, I'd be really ticked at the US.

< killing the Nord Stream> This whole discussion is very depressing. Almost all of us here are educated, wealthy, white, male. We are the demographic that, throughout history, has trusted and supported the government. We run this country, maintain stability, keep Order (for better or worse). Yet, all of us (including me) are willing to believe (on little evidence) the US government is doing extremely stupid things, and then lying about it. If we don’t believe in the Status Quo any longer, who does? Who is left to keep chaos at bay?
