TESLA upped it's charging fee to $30 from $5. That's just the beginning. My friend lives in the wine country in Cali. He thought he was gonna save the planet and bought a Chevy Leaf. The battery finally gave out. He took it to the shop...was quoted $8,500 3 months ago for a new battery. Went in this week...now $12,500 for a replacement battery...all for a POS car with a range of 120 miles.
