I read an interesting twist to the Poland theory. Nord Stream 1 & 2 bypass Poland, and there is considerable friction between the two nations (mostly unreported in western media). Understanding the nuances of EU politics is difficult unless you have good non-US sources. I can't claim to have such sources, but an ex-Polish official tweeted "Thank you USA" when the news came out. Actually it is probable that Poland did it for the US, covering the tracks of American intelligence covert ops AND a backstab at Germany.

We will probably never really know for sure. Tucker Carlson had a good discussion of what this really means, and the potential blowback could be worse than those in Washington realize.

Seems to me that the DC intelligence community thinking they can run (ruin) the world without serious pushback, like they are some sort of gods, so they have gone full Dr. Strangelove. Not comforting to see.
There might be a run on iodine tablets one of these days.
