Thank you, Ken...........I appreciate your good thoughts. More than anything, it was the air quality that brought the biggest problem to our area. The main fire was very close.......they're still working to control it and the chance of it spreading is low. But finally, the air quality is much improved. We've been home over a week now, but have had to either stay indoors or go down to the Sound 45 miles away to grab some fresh air. We were actually able to spend some time outside yesterday here at home. They don't expect to be able to wrap this up and remove crews until later in Oct when the rains return. But the winds have shifted, and we're getting that wonderful onshore flow from the Pacific and that has made a huge difference.
