I've been thinking low profile and stealth. Small sub with detachable ROV, black op funding, not traceable to any military, with no official orders.

Wouldn't a torpedo take a big sub? Of course the big subs are probably more stealthy than anything, and shoot and skoot would be easy for them, but loose lips could sink the ship of State. Unless NATO command is on board and they don't really care about being caught eventually?

Crazy times.

A Russian guy has been streaming a gas burning stove going full blast for fun and trolls on social media. That's all he does - no comments, just streaming video of his stove burning gas 24/7.

I guess it's "hate speech". He's been getting banned.

I'm burning wood to keep warm. Green Energy! Renewable! Sustainable! Greenhouses are good, right? So with a little help from the woodsmoke, maybe the climate will change for the warmer and it'll become less necessary to create the smoke? The cycle of Green Energy. That's why pipelines have to be blown every now and again. Europe was looking at a cold winter, but now, the climate will be warmer!

"Nah, wire guided torpedo"

As things currently stand, I tend to agree with you, seeing as the Guilty Party here is still unknown.

One has to remember that all the Major Powers have satellites up there keeping an eye on every square mile of the earth's surface. If the pipelines had been damaged by floating vessels, behaving suspiciously in the vicinity of where the explosions took place, then that would have been spotted from "above".

However, a submarine, especially a Nuclear-powered submarine, operates without any visual "evidence", so one would very likely have been used. In addition this type of submarine can remain underwater for weeks or months at a time, plus it also has "stealth" capabilities making its movements virtually impossible to track.

Needless to say, that narrows down the "field" as to who is the "culprit" who has Nuclear-powered submarines ..........
