A million barrels a day DOES have an effect on oil prices...either way.
Pennies on the dollar. Drops in the bucket.

I was against the release of the SPR just to try and move global oil prices. It's stupid, it buys us nothing, and it makes us more vulnerable in terms of national security.

And yes, if we are forced to refill the SPR at high prices, that would cost us a lot.

But if you think such a refill would drive oil prices back above $100, you are just as naive as Brumar.
