Ahhh ... what a refreshing change! An honest and polite short.

Being long, I obviously disagree with your decision but who knows, we might both make some money. If the price does soften over the next couple of days over the lack of news (quite honestly, this is the only thing you shorts have going for you right now) I would strongly suggest that you take your quick profit and get out. I really and truly believe that this stock is poised to explode.

Just a bit of advice from a polite long to a polite short.

Ciao.

Ian, thank you for posting. Would it be too much trouble to ask why you have decided to short? I am honestly just curious on whether you are playing off of the delay of an announcement or you have a longer view, i.e., you believe KRY will ultimately lose out in Venezuela. Just trying to get a grip on why some are shorting since there is a fairly large short position out there. Obviously you know I disagree but I would like to hear more about how the market is working from the shorts' perspective. Thanks. (I tried posting this earlier but it didn't go through I think)

For the record
After following Crystallex for months, I finally
took a position in the stock this AM. I went short
at $10.10 - 10.20.

KRY IS $10.60 UP 95C. Good luck.

It is hard to rationalize the market cap of KRY. Even if they win
Las Cristinas, they would have serious dilution to endure to fund the
project. With current market cap and capital expenditure requirement
they would not appear attractive as a buy out for a major.
So, if you look at potential dilution if they were to take the project
on themselves, they are now pricing a 100% win. Their other projects
do not nearly substantiate this market cap, so I do not see where the
upside exists. Your honesty will probably offend, but we agree in
the long run with your decision.
