With the recent sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline, it appears some bad actors really want to take Germany down. At the time Germany converted to the euro, they were the power house engine of the region. Without Oil or NG many of their manufacturing facilities will close and at best be relocated to other countries (some to the US). From many of the news stories I have read, I have come to the conclusion that Germany is the target and it's not just Russia but US & UK (via NATO) may/could be complicit (for other reasons).
