lawrecne, you like everyone on this thread seem to have more knowledge about aksef and the oil business than myself, being a lay person in that business, and only invested in arakis for about 1 year.I had no idea we might eventually be paid back for the pipeline cost, thanks.
Your response brought up a few more questions, and I'm thinking of plunging deeper into the AKSEF pit and need to clarify other questions.
1.<they are going to receive money from the tariff that the jv partners charge > Is this our payment when non members transport their oil thru the pipeline, was that 4 or 6 $ /barrel transported. Does Aksef get a full 25% of that revenue.
2.Is it true that even though aksef is said to have 25% of the deal that it is really only gets 12.5% of the revenue because the govt. of Sudan gets half of the proceeds right off the top.
3.How much should a barrel of this oil actually sell for at todays price for oil, IOW what # should I multiply our 12.5% times to get our revenue profit. I'm trying to figure how much aksef should actually be making. It seems like big money.
Thanks again in advance, and please anyone else with their take on these questions. Jim
