65% is just complete nonsense. As far as the Chinese go they have worn them for years for pollution which is particulate ( masks work for that) and also for dust from the Sahara desert. Its become like a cultural thing . For a mask to work against viruses it has to have a complete seal (which they dont even come close to) and you would need a medical clearance to wear since they would then be classified as a Respirator. I worked in Nuclear industry and when we wore respirators we had to get a Physical to ensure we were physically able to wear. This is aside from the fact that the weave in masks is like catching mosquitoes in a chain link fence. Enjoy
