You are forgetting that Russia invaded, then they held referendums at the point of a gun, and after kidnapping more than a million Ukrainians that would probably voted differently. All you have to notice is how the people liberated from the Russian invasion are waving to the Ukrainian army and waving yellow-blue flags.
