Yea, you can really get whipsawed with the multiple crossovers. I don't actually use crossovers at all anymore. I put bollinger bands around slow stochastics instead. By using the 5 day stochastic it smooths out a lot of the fake out moves and the bollinger bands are more flexible in finding the high and lows in stochastics within the framework of the current trend which is key. The 80 and 20 levels by themselves don't take the current trend into account. If you've got software, give bollinger bands on stochastics a try. On IOM, I shorted it for the game on the APM thread. I don't have any real money on it. Owen on this thread pointed it out to me. I think IOM will bottom at either $9 flat or $8 flat. Don't know which yet.
