Humorously... just occurred to me... they try to "help" me when I don't need help, and they just get in the way... I need help to figure out get rid of help pop up windows etc...

And when I actually do NEED help they are nowhere to be found, the computer help gives me the answer to the wrong question... if I get a human they don't know how to help...

Yeah that's the tech world now... their new idea is to bring back Clippee

I also occurres to me they could save a lot of money by making tech usable enough in the first place so that help would rarely be needed

> Remember Clippee and Microsoft Bob helpers that everyone hated?

I do! At least Clippy, he was around quite awhile. The memes created for him were hilarious, back before that was even a common word.

I remember seeing pallets of Microsoft Bob in Costco when it was released, but it died so quickly in sales and reviews were so bad it vanished quickly. I don't remember much about it other than that.

I'm sure many heads rolled in Redmond after that fiasco.
