<<>Do you change all 180 modules and header files in your project at once.>>

No of course not, but if I change a main header file that impacts multiple files in the project and causes the entire project to need to be recompiled, I would

1. make all necessary changes to the header,
2. start the compile and start fixing errors/making changes to the cpp modules,

so when I'm done with the changes to the cpp modules, all the unaffected modules are already recompiled.

No I haven't used C++ Builder. We don't have the time to even consider switching compilers.

Mark,

<Once you have done a complete build, a rebuild with your machine should take seconds. >
Conditional recompiling is a lot faster, but some people just like to do full compiles anyway, just like some people will only do full disk backups and never do the incremental ones. I've only played a little bit with C++Builder and the modal compile dialog is a little annoying, but not that big a deal in my opinion; perhaps Borland could explain the reason for this, perhaps here (after all, it's good enough for Del!).

Regards,
Dave
