Sector staying firm, yes. Upside potential, yes. BUT...

You have to look at the individual stocks, if they are optionable, and where they are NOW in relation to the closest option strike price. The options tug-of-war has already begun with expirations due next Friday.

Again even with momentum, some of these stocks will play right around their option strikes, and may bypass or participate in a general sector burst. For example, GLM (IMHO) will NOT make 27.5, but will close at 25.

NE will probably try to make 30, or close to it.

MDCO took a shot at 20, but might creep back to 17.5 again. It's right in the middle of that range now, so it could go either way.

RON could do 55.
