I'm going back to 88/90 but yes.. (first house) told ex during the split let's rent out the house (house we bought after the townhouse) .. we bought at 200K sold for 800K.. I told her the area is gentrifying.. look at what is being built around us.. all the tiny bungalows on big lots are being scrapped for monster homes.. We had a nice backsplit.. bigger than the bungalows.. a bit big to tear down and build on.. despite a very nice lot.. Anyway.. we sold.. ex was very good at biting both of our noses to spite her face LOL Two years later it was 1.2 mil :(
