Doren, CONSUMPTION though has a LOT to do with prices. Yes but until we get to the liberal promised land of EVs, the only other way to reduce consumption is to tank the economy by raising interest rates. All this talk about global warming, climate change, etc. is encouraging policies that do nothing to stop the climate from changing. All it does is make us much more dependent on foreign oil. That's because the geniuses in Washington still think the best way to move us to a post-carbon future is by killing production. That's why they don't give a shit about gas prices, because fundamentally they believe that gas prices ought to be high in order to encourage people off of their gas-powered vehicles. It's one of many reasons why I still use the admittedly infantile name Brandon, because quite frankly he deserves it, just like Orange Man deserves to be called the Boss Baby. Tenchusatsu
