All looks good until the last one... torture the rate junkies then put them back on the junk... ? Then Powell will go down in history with absolutely zero cred... and will IMVHO have made his biggest mistake 6-7% mortgage rates are not too high.. folks buy within their means good businesses do just fine savers can save.. Market is no longer god.. stock pickers delight May sound tangential.. but I always wonder just how old these guys are

Good post. I am thinking that we might be a little ahead in the timing of the short term bottom and bounce. However I think that we are in the denial phase of this whole process and there will be more pain to come, but we could still see the return to normal phase first. We could start slicing through the old gaps like butter and there's no reason we couldn't see a bottom by the end of October and then see a Santa Clause rally. The average bounce in time off this size Wycoff pattern was 5-7 days which would basically put a top in by tomorrow or Monday. I will be watching the center purple line if we start to bounce. Just like major hedge firms take time to unload huge positions, I think that they may be starting to add for what could be a 40-50% bounce back up to the return to normal phase Just got in with a long position and got my scalp out and set at break even now with the purple line as my runner target.
