Not so sure of deflation being that onerous.. but I am always ready to zig or zag :) I really think Powell is the first Chair in a long time trying to get us off the junk... so I am rooting for him still warts and all.. easy to criticize him but he has few tools and a tough job .. including all the ZIRP junkies hounding him... I am guessing you lived through the 70s also when we were much younger.. since age 10 I have NEVER been without a job :) right now the working man / lower middle class are really hurting .. decent rates give them a safe saving option... I paid my Wedding with Canada Savings bonds earning 15% :) It's always different.. René :)
