like i said there is a lot of smoke and mirrors here. the 8% inflation is not constant. there is no one other then possibly the fed governors who think that the cpi will be going up at 8% 12 months from now. in fact we can already see from company reporting that much of this transitory inflation was due from pent up demand do to lots of people staying home and supply chain issues. that is now behind us. we can see this in the semis and ups and fedex reporting. I suspect that some housing prices will decline because retirees will want to downsize from their 5 bedroom mansions in the suburbs but those kinds of houses will not be in demand by the work from anywhere generation.

that is why i strongly believe that grabbing companies that have 10% free cash flow is pretty much a gift for people who can just wait out whatever the algs put out. I am totally and forever grateful that we found my son looking at a train display about 30 yards from where we lost him. The shocking and dismaying part was that I literally ran to an office to report him missing and it took almost 20 minutes for security to get to me and take down his information. Meanwhile my wife was searching all over for him and eventually found him. If someone had abducted him he would have been long gone. i will look for that david bowie movie.
