No it's not a "local dispute."

That's what I believed originally, which is why I was initially against intervening in Ukraine.

Later it was clear to me what PooTin's goal was, and it wasn't going to stop with Ukraine:

There are huge geopolitical implications behind PooTin's war of choice.

If he wins, Europe will destabilize. The Iron Curtain will descend again.

China will become much more belligerent than ever before.

North Korea will be encouraged to do even more of what they do.

But most importantly, the spirit of Hitler will be reborn in Mad Vlad.

Seldom do wars ever fit the profile of "good vs. evil," but PooTin's war of choice in Ukraine fits it perfectly.

But hey, there's merit to America being isolationist once again.

Unfortunately that's usually pushed by those who have the wrong idea of what American exceptionalism really entails.
