Biden would like to remove tariffs from China. The problem is if he does so, he risks alienating part of the base that he won back from Trump in 2016. Labor, especially Blue Collar labor, is against outsourcing, which is a big part of Free trade..

So, Free trade and labor in the USA don't mix well together.

Wall Street is Pro Free Trade, but votes Republican because of tax cuts. But they only make up 10% of the population so the Biden Administration does not have them as a priority since 85% of them are not going to vote Dem. anyway.

In other words, many vote their monetary interest and already have their minds made up.

Politics is a matter of acquiring votes rather than adhering to any standard.

I was raised and spent most of my life in NYC where there are Indian and Bengali neighborhoods. I mix with most ethnicities. But I am more interested in in a person's ideas and life views. I'm mostly in the Dem camp, but will on occasion vote Republican. Actually, I don't like either Party, but do identify with certain elements from both sides. My main objection to Trump was his divisiveness.

Team France folded its cards and is out,

Now eyes on Team UK

Let’s see if Charles shall allow Truss to wager the realm

If not, all up to Team USA

Should USA opts out and do rug-pull II on Team Ukraine, then best for all to sit down calmly and seek peace

Emmanuel Macron

Photographer: Stefanie Loos/BloombergFrance would not respond with nuclear weapons should Russia resort to deploying them tactically against Ukraine, President Emmanuel Macron said.

“Our doctrine rests on the fundamental interests of the nation. They are defined clearly and wouldn’t be directly affected at all if, for example, there was a ballistic nuclear attack in Ukraine, in the region,” Macron said during a live interview on public broadcaster France 2 late Wednesday.

It’s the first time Macron has discussed France’s nuclear deterrence doctrine regarding Ukraine in detail. He added that it was not good to talk about it too much.

So far despite his threats there is no sense that Russian President Vladimir Putin is moving nuclear assets.
