Grey Wolf names Wehlmann CFO

HOUSTON, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Grey Wolf Inc said Wednesday David Wehlmann has been named
chief financial officer.

The company said in a statement Wehlmann replaced T. Scott O'Keefe, who resigned in December
to pursue other opportunities.

Wehlmann joined Grey Wolf in July 1996. Prior to that, he was vice president and chief accounting
officer of EnerVest Management Co LC, a privately held oil and gas property acquisition and
management company, Grey Wolf said.

Grey Wolf provides contract oil and gas land drilling services in the United States and Venezuela.

Thean,

For full rundown on RIG's fleet, you can check their website:
deepwater.com

In brief, RIG's fleet is largely concentrated in the North Sea and the Gulf of Mexico. In the North Sea they have 13 semisubmersibles and 2 jackups. In the Gulf they have 6 semis and 4 drillships. They also have a couple of semis in Brazil, 3 jackups in the Middle East and 1 jackup in India.

Though RIG is very strong in harsh environment drilling, their special concentration is in ultradeep drilling.

Thean, Beg to differ with you on RIG's presence in the Gulf of Mexico. Transocean has 10 of their 31 rigs operating in the GOM.
