Joachim,
Street signs in Kiev and the majority of the people speak Russian and not Ukrainian.
I bet that's gonna change ...

Moscow’s Invasion Pushes Ukrainians to Ditch Russian, Learn Ukrainian - WSJ

Given the sentiments of the Ukrainians, who are almost universally pissed off about RuZZia, I don't think you're going to find too many people there who think Ukraine shouldn't remain an independent country.

Plus this whole "both sides are corrupt" excuse is just that, an excuse to appease PooTin or at least throw Ukraine under the bus.

But hey, normally I wouldn't give a Brandon about Ukraine or their "local territorial dispute" with their neighbor.

PooTin, however, made the mistake of overextending.

And there isn't any excuse that would cause me to believe that it isn't worth defending Ukraine against a kleptocrat who is willing to throw away every responsibility that comes with being the 2nd strongest nuclear power in the world.
