Jerome: What I like about the new press releases is: 1) It shows developement of a system for taking pictures on the fly and with great ease, downloading them to your PC. This is what "shutterbugs" want to see. 2) SNDK PR is finally, using numbers - telling how many picture can be stored on the CF and they recognize the concerns of digital photog as shown by this quote: "allows consumers to download images up to 20 times faster than by employing the serial port (on the camera)connection method frequently used today. For example, downloading a 10MB CF card filled with images through the serial port takes more than 10 minutes while downloading the images with the ImageMate takes less than one minute." A tenfold increase in download time - pretty impressive. I wonder how that stacks up to the "clik" which is still mechanical as opposed to the Image Mate Card Reader (non-mechanical)?
