Brazil to get HDTV broadcasts for World Cup via Zenith's VSB patented transmissions (ATSC standard). (When will Zenith announce its royalty pricing?) February 12, 1998 BUSINESS WIRE: "Comark Digital Services has been awarded a contract by TV Globo to bring "World Cup Soccer" live action from France to Brazil in digital HDTV (High Definition Television). "World Cup Soccer" is being delivered in the ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) Digital Television Standard.
