Very impressive close, heavy volume and a successful move above the intraday high 5 11/16. Just a thought about the reporter who mentioned VLNC's plans for production later this year: Remember this is VLNC's fiscal fourth quarter 98. Red Chip Review, for instance, generally refers to the fiscal year not calendar year. It seems natural for someone unfamiliar with VLNC's fiscal year to unintentionally misinform.

Can we say BREAKOUT? Nah, probably too soon, but things appear to be starting in motion, and the next couple of days should be, hopefully, harbingers of days to come. That is, large volume and positive pressure to share price becoming the norm, not the exception. If everything we longs have hoped for is truely "on the cusp" of being true then we may just look back on today as the starting gun of a long VLNC bull run. And if that turns out to be the reality I'm gonna crank up the 'ol dancing baby software for prominent display. ;-)

Anyway, it's certainly setting the stage for Feb. 17th's conference call.

John~

Steve - Can you confirm that Leibovit is still scheduled for NBR this evening?
Message 3403250
Hope someone can watch and report back to the thread.
(BTW, Leibovit is part of Wolanchuk's group, at least to the extent that he has an extension on the Wolanchuk 900 line.)
