We can hope (that they're duds). How's that negotiation going between the truckers and Trudeaup's financial bullies who stole their money? PayPal is learning not to be a bully. Hope the banks learn from that. At least I haven't heard about any beatings with loss of eyeballs up there. Just grannies being trampled by horses. Very hard to negotiate when the balance of power is so uneven. Very hard to negotiate when the balance of reason is so uneven. Very hard to negotiate when you don't even know who is pulling the strings.

If Putin's army is any indication of his control Russia's nuclear bombs will explode before launching. Either way you don't negotiate with a school yard bully, even if he is representing eternal Mother Russia. That’s the thing - no one treated them seriously since they dumped communism. And still, even today no one wants to negotiate. Everyone wants to defeat them. So, being that war is continuation of politics by other means, the battlefield is the only “political” approach left to them. Do or die.
