Roger: RE: Increased short positions. IMO this is the way to go sell high buy low. I have increased significantly my short exposure as in the last two weeks I have only found it worthwhile to sell overpriced stocks (long and short). Has worked in the past, should work in the future. Will not cover any short position in a high market.

Roger,

I'm sure you don't remember me, but, a quick note of thanks ... I was going to short AOL at 80 but you convinced me to wait until it hit 100. I am sure glad I waited. I still haven't changed my original fundamental evaluation that AOL is worth about $20/share. The recent rise has convinced me to wait until a well hyped split has completed. BWDIK.
