"What's this about "possible recession" in the future?"

The way I see it, there's been so much "printing of money" that the US doesn't have, combined with the massive spending that has been going on over the last year or two, that Inflation was inevitable and an adverse GDP is also not surprising. So now we have the current administration coming up with their own "definitions(?)" for what are Recessions, contrary to what has always been accepted as the Definition of a RECESSION ....... TWO CONSECUTIVE QUARTERS OF NEGATIVE GDP GROWTH RATES.
