When market acts rationally and becomes predictable, I will head towards VEgas to do my gambling and leave my capital invested in some good companies to make money and pay for my gambling losses. As it is I need to work to pay for my Stock Market (gambling) losses.

<<It's like HP - it actually rises and falls with PC news, even though PCs are a tiny fraction of its business. >>

do you mean HP or MOT ? PC is not a tiny part of HP's business, it is over 70% of its business eventhough HP has other businesses, i.e. testing instruments, medical instruments etc. But its bread & butter is from PC business.
