Trump said at the Mesa, AZ rally that the dems have gone past socialism to communism. We're living in the #EmpireofLies - lawlessness. If the GOP gets control of the House and doesn't do anything about it, and Trump is reelected in 2024 and doesn't do anything about it, we will know that there are no heroes left in our politics. The communists / globalists / militaristic Deep State will have won. The good thing is that the USSR showed that communism collapses under its own weight. Fascism collapses under its own even faster, once it's exposed. Right, PayPal? Only a couple weeks for the Twitter deal to go through, or go to court. Free speech is culturally superior to "other forms of intolerance". I'm so intolerant. Welcome to the party, PayPal.

Over the years, I’ve read several books about that region and it’s history. Its history is very complex. Yes, many Ukrainians fought alongside the Nazis - and committed atrocities. And yes (as I mentioned yesterday), many more of them - several millions - were part of the Red Army fighting the Nazis - ethnic Ukrainians making up as much as 50% of the Red Army’s officer corp. As for your surprise as to why I’m shocked by this current war…. I think anyone who knows anything about that part of the world is shocked. My understanding is that Ukraine was a weak democracy - and their radical elements, with a lot of support, were able to become a militarized, well organized, true power in the country.
