I wonder if the SCI going sideways while the SPX is still trending is a sign of pending trend exhaustion.

Look at yesterday afternoon. SCI barely moved up, and the SPX kept rising. Look at the most recent hourly candlestick on your chart. SCI is barely down while the SPX is down quite a bit.

That's one thing I noticed. If SCI leads, this could be a possible tell that may be of value. We would have to find more examples to know for sure, and there are probably more on that chart if I looked.
