Off the cuff - no idea, but Telefunken ?!@ Thought they're long gone. Looked up in the German equivalent of Russel 2000 roster, but no trace. Could be they're wholy owned subsidiary but then don't know what Forbes is piling on his readers.

The biggest in Silicon, I know of close by, is Wacker Chemie /Siltronic (the processor and some other Si as well in your PC probably came from Munich as the original crystal). However, frankly, I have not yet figured out,who/what owns the darned place.

The waters in these regions can get pretty shallow. So: how would I buy? I would not. And so that I don't come out too negative: look up VEBA (on WS) and LHS Group (on NAZ). Steve had some urls for German ADRs but (sigh) he's locked up in some fjord up in Norway.

I'll have a collection for him some time next week.
