I would agree with you that the biotech sector isn't well understood by many investors but someone understood-at one time- CHIR. Many understood AGPH. And for a while, many understood Corr. Add Vicl, BCHE, and somebody definitely understood the 2 wonder drug company called AMGN. People better understand companies when they show that they are making money.

The number of hits to your web page is a double edged sword. Can you tell if each hit is a different person or if you have only 2000 people who have hit your page 10 times each? Also, many investors are probably scared to invest in a company that lives or dies by trials. There aren't many who have the stomach to invest in a volatile biotech company. Once LGND shows that their science translated into products that make them money, then maybe the squeamish will invest their money. Until then, they'll invest their money in a KO, T, or IBM where they know there money is safer than investing it in a biotech.
