Couple little tidbits. In Sept. quarter, AOLers were doing about 75 million stock quotes daily. In Dec. quarter, AOLers were doing just under 60 million stock quotes daily. Guess some AOLers are finding the web sites are better for stock info than AOL.

In Sept. quarter, AOL recognized $14 million in "other" revenue from the Tel-Save deal. Wonder how much they've recognized in the Dec. quarter. Have to wonder how much money Tel-Save will continue to spend on AOL. I figure it's cost them about $200 to pick up a subscriber, if the Dec. quarter is roughly the same. And they've probably picked up most of the "easy" subscribers.

Still have no indication regarding sales of XCIT shares. If they did, it probably wasn't nearly as many as the Sept. quarter. I guess this would show up in other revenue, and this was quite a bit smaller this time.

Very Risky to Bet against AOL. There are a lot of safer stocks to short. So why do people like playing with fire?
