Zeev, the yahoo report says short-covering in bonds lifted the treasuries today. But you could be right about the divergence. Last May when we were talking about the possibility of that divergence (on this thread) several people laughed at it. They said falling yield is bullish for stocks.

However, I think that the falling yields are taking some pressure off the money central banks who might have had huge losses in SEA. That should help stabilize these stocks and possibly the market - don't you think?

OTOH, dollar appears to be weakening (though slightly) against major currencies. A considerable fall in dollar will bring the worst of all possible scenarios to US scrips.

Right now, I think the market is positioning itself to sucker-in the new IRA money and other liquidity that is perceived to be available for equities. The question is how much is out there?
