I went to the initial source, since WEF doesn't endorse that article. Author: Randy Simmons is a Professor of Political Economy at Utah State University. Megan Hansen, a Strata policy analyst, co-authored this article. This article is published in collaboration with The Conversation. Publication does not imply endorsement of views by the World Economic Forum. Funny thing - DOE funds Prof. Simmons. I wonder if he factored in all the university and think tank money in his subsidy calculations? LOL Now do Electric Vehicles, Prof. Simmons. Since I've worked in the electric power industry in an area that is off the national grid, I know how expensive it is to have backup generation. El Guapo and his admirers are going to be finding out soon. 2035 isn't that far away.
