The Wall Street Journal -- February 11, 1998
Business Brief -- 3COM CORP.:
Company and 10 Executives
Are Sued by Shareholders

Shareholders of 3Com Corp. filed a lawsuit against the company and 10 of its executives alleging that they sold stock in anticipation of adverse events that caused 3Com's stock price to plummet in February 1997. The complaint, seeking class-action status, was filed in San Francisco federal court and covers the period from Sept. 24, 1996, to Feb. 10, 1997. A spokeswoman for 3Com, a maker of computer-networking equipment based in Santa Clara, Calif., declined to comment on the matter.

( a sign of the bottom, can't remember any co. keep going down after being sued. An excellent buying signal for beaten down stock)
