Well, that would have been when Jerry was making you some serious money. Did you thank him? The only tech titan I have personally met was Steve Jobs, and he did me no good! I worked with two other guys in a little robotics group just up the street from Next Inc in Redwood City, and Jobs and half a dozen of his manufacturing engineers came to our place and crawled all over our system, then went off and copied it, as we would find out a year later. He kind of had a habit of doing that sort of thing. It was with some satisfaction that I watched them go out of business not too long thereafter...
