Mike - A book written by Ayn Rand in about 1957 called Atlas Shrugged. The book begins with that sentence and espouses her personal
philosophy which, not quite in a nutshell, is that wealth is
EARNED by labor and intelligence and that never-do-wells (the
State and those who choose not to work) seek to deprive those
creators of their wealth by creating and enforcing "laws" to their benefit. Ralph
