To all:

What is so mind boggling with this BNGO right now is assuming they have $1.40 in cash per share. At the closing market price of $3.625 we have a business that the market says is only worth nearly $2.25 a share.

$3.625 market price
-$1.400 cash
_______
$2.225 the rest of the business valued at $ per share

These numbers are unbelieveable even for someone who has no gambling spirit. Why has not someone come forward and offered them say $8 to $10 no questions asked to steal it away. Go figure? SC politics or not it has to be worth at least that much.

Comments?

Valuespec - A few weeks ago I started a website for BNGO data. In fact, I had been working on it for about a week when you posted the notice about your website. Although incomplete, you will find many links there which you are free to use or, if you prefer, provide a link on your site to mine. Here is the URL:

geocities.com

I am convinced BNGO's share price isn't going up until this SC political albatross is lifted from around its neck - one way or the other. As Scott, Citibob and others have pointed out, this company is worth more than this even without SC VGMs. Furthermore, I have been drawn off into other urgent business recently and this is likely to continue for a few weeks. Therefore, I will be an infrequent poster to SI for the near future, although I do expect to monitor the thread (back to the realm of the lurkers!). I also will not be able to update my website for awhile. When the SC situation resolves itself, I hope to return to a more active role.

I have one suggestion I will leave with y'all. I think someone should spearhead an email campaign aimed particularly at the South Carolina PRO-VGM Senators and those legislators who are considered to be "on the fence". If this issue is going to come down to a filibuster, that is going to be a VERY steep mountain for Gov. Beasley and the anti-VGM forces to climb. However, it is crucial that those legislators in our camp REMAIN THERE and that as many fence-sitters as possible lean to our side.

There are links at my website to the South Carolina General Assembly website where someone should be able compile a list of email addresses for the legislators. What remains to be done is for someone to find out which legislators are in our camp and which are fence-sitting.

Maybe Freeus can mobilize her Libertarian colleagues around the country to join this campaign. Ed Pettee, you are fairly well connected politically. I think you are a good candidate to spearhead this. What do you think?

Hope to talk with y'all soon.
