I got caught like that a decade ago, wanting to believe in an investment because the goal was so desirable I overlooked obvious defects that were fatal [to my investment]. Fortunately I was skeptical enough to require a mortgage security. The other investors lost the lot. I just lost 66% and that loss because their lawyer blundered their processes. It's interesting reading swarms of crazed true believers in RussiaRussiaRussia propaganda, including by people right here in SI. Their unreasoned responses are ipso facto evidence of their bung ideas and chimpoid 'thinking". Unprovoked invasion War of choice Sham voting Genocidal war crimes Rape of all and sundry, babies and whatever Bombing of children in schools, old people in hospitals, blah blah blah... Teeth pulled out in torture chambers for gold on and on and on the propaganda goes and weirdly, swarms of people believe it. Since the Americans, Liz Truss/Boris, Ursula, Annalena, Scholz, Sanna, Mette, Herr Gruppenfuhrer Stoltenberg et al are foaming at the mouth for war with Russia, they'll get it. So I still think Russia is going to have to copy USA and use atomic bombs to demonstrate how serious things are. I'm hoping something like 10 or 20 will be enough for Americans, dopey Poms, the Fourth Reich etc to reconsider what they think is a good idea. Russia has a LOT less to lose than the USA/Eurostan collective. So once the atomic bombs, polonium aerosols, novichok water supplies, fentanyl in air conditioners start going off all over the place they might get serious and ponder whether the end of the world including themselves really is such a great idea after all. The Yanks and Euroserfs figure they can easily roll over Russia using "conventional" weapons because they can. Their problem is to con the Russians into losing in conventional weaponry without going full scale deflection. But Russians will continue to be slaughtered by the space-based and super clever electronically controlled weaponry Made in USA, so they'll have no choice but to go asymmetrical or simply surrender unconditionally and have all their nuclear weapons and country confiscated by NATO. China won't go along with that and will occupy Russia, heading west at great speed. Or Russia/China will open a second front in Alaska, Taiwan, Hawaii, what have you. Might as well go for the USA mainland. "Fight them over there so we don't have to fight them over here." Mqurice
