Contact the state. Order them by February and pick up in late April.

We can buy from the state (in bigger quantities) or the county in smaller quantities.

They sold cherry trees bare root stock that were 5 feet tall and only cost $20.00 a tree.

I rented a rear tine tiller and dug big holes. I used sand, peat moss, and black cow compost and bermed up wood chips for water retention.

So far 100% survival on year three this coming May.

The old $10.00 tree and a $100.00 dollar hole concept.
