Thread: Am I the only one whose email confirmations from Datek are extremely erratic? So, far I've received one from a trade today (actually two, if you count the double name one) , but none from my other trades today. Assuming this is not unique to me.............. Now, Datek is under no obligation to email confirmations, but it is a fabulous idea. I am on-line throughout the trading day, but often do other things while within earshot. When I receive an email my computer plays Beethoven's Ninth, real loud. If emails came immediately from Datek, I wouldn't need to keep checking my "Daily Activity" or "Message" screens every couple of minutes to see whether my limit orders have been filled, so that I could then take the next step according to my weird trading strategy (which strategy I shall not divulge). Personally, I'd even pay a little money for email service, were it only reliable. Repondez, SVP?
