Actually right now support looks to be in the 130's. But if the market stays up until the split, I would think shorting is silly.(Yes I am assuming if the market stays up MSFT stays up. Usually the case these days.)
But I have only shorted once and that was by accident (I have two accounts with Datek and accidentally sold where I didnt have that particular stock!)

It happened many time that when "famous" people said buy to public, it would be too late to buy. Stocks may just turn around after buying signal.
