"The "volume looks good" as in lots of trades of varying size, not all large block manufactured volume as you were trying to say. I know you have trouble figuring that out, you couldn't even find my 7,000 share buy with your quote setup a while back and started yelling about it, name calling. Of course you were proved the idiot you are back then too because you were wrong again."
***Once again, dumb & dumber hasn't done his homework. Let's look at NAMX's trading log for 02-11-98 which can be downloaded from I-trader absolutely FREE! I classifed large blocks as being anything over 10,000. Below is a list of these trades with transaction time, price, and amount. 10:08 .225 116,000.00 10:16 .225 63,000.00 10:21 .220 50,000.00 10:21 .220 50,000.00 10:35 .225 50,000.00 10:35 .225 51,000.00 11:14 .225 100,000.00 11:16 .225 10,000.00 11:16 .230 90,000.00 11:20 .230 30,000.00 11:23 .230 20,000.00 11:32 .225 10,000.00 11:34 .225 180,000.00 11:52 .215 11,000.00 11:54 .225 10,000.00 12:04 .215 14,500.00 12:05 .222 14,500.00 13:20 .225 10,000.00 13:20 .225 10,000.00 13:22 .225 16,000.00 13:35 .225 10,000.00 13:42 .220 40,000.00 14:00 .220 15,000.00 14:22 .225 30,000.00 14:28 .215 15,000.00 15:05 .225 20,000.00 15:17 .210 10,000.00 15:17 .210 10,000.00 15:18 .225 19,600.00 15:19 .215 19,500.00 15:19 .210 10,000.00 15:20 .210 10,000.00 15:21 .220 73,500.00 15:22 .220 80,000.00 15:25 .220 85,000.00 Totals for big block trades = 1,353,600.00 Total shares traded on 02-11-98 = 1,531,100.00
***It appears those "big blocks" you were referring to made up about 90% of the volume generated today. You're really going to have to start updating your computer with all this neat new stuff they have out there. Also, most of these trades resulted in a a subsequent zero change in price. The transaction times give the MMs away most of the time. Stick around Sturgeon, I'll teach you some more stuff in a little bit...*** |
