Barbara--I haven't seen you post before but those are some perceptive insights you had. Lack of waiting has meant a lot of lost opportunities for me. Welcome to the thread. Taxi--I was afraid you took a bad hit. I saw the news in the LA times and thought it was bad indeed for an ELNK short. I was long today and it looks like I was one of the few regulars here who had a good day. I just wasn't around to do something stupid. I almost took a shot at ZITL yesterday on a day trade. Get in at 11 1/2 or so and then let it run back to the 10's. I am not sorry I missed that opportunity. I was going to set a tight stop at 12 1/8. Would have eaten it. Also powerful glad I went ahead and ate my ZONA short at 18+. Waiting around for it to get much higher is not to my liking. There will be another day Taxi. No one beats the market all the time. i had a large short that was as far as 17 points underwater.. i got out 3 points below here.. i am switching to options mode and will get this sucker later.. last year at this time i made several hundred % base points with options and have paid my bills thru what i earned.. i appreciate your post.. and i find i have too much time to watch the tape.. i am in the process of both writing about my exploits and when i have been exploited.. most books, etc fascinate themselves with their gains.. and bury their losses..the losses are the key to not making the same mistake 2x.. taxi
